Bottom Stress Modules Sedimentation Modules

Bottom Boundary Layer Model: FORTRAN

This version of the BBLM is for unstratified conditions. The program computes the shear stresses, bottom roughness, and ripple height and length. It does not contain scripts to compute sediment concentrations.

Bottom Boundary Layer Model: MATLAB

This version of the BBLM is for unstratified conditions. The m-files compute the shear stresses, bottom roughness, ripple height and length, and current and suspended sediment concentration profiles.

Test case - This PDF file contains input and predicted model output for 3 test cases (small wave, medium wave, large wave). If you run the model with the prescribed input, you should get the output results listed in the PDF file

User documentation - This PDF file provides limited documentation on the program code.

References - This PDF file provides some general references that describe the underlying theory that these models are based upon.
